GlobalConnect appoints Uffe Tomasson as new Group Chief Operating Officer
Nordic digital infrastructure and connectivity provider GlobalConnect appoints Uffe Tomasson as its new Group COO (Chief Operating Officer). Tomasson comes from a position as Chief Network Officer at German connectivity provider Deutsche Glasfaser and will assume his new position on April 1, 2023.

Before joining Deutsche Glasfaser, Tomasson was VP, Head of Delivery at TDC, where he held several leading positions between 2016 and 2021. He also brings more than a decade of experience from various international leading positions within Nokia Networks and Nokia Siemens Networks.

Uffe Tomasson holds a Master of Science from the Technical University of Denmark and lives in Copenhagen with his family. He will be a part of the Executive Leadership Team and report to Executive Vice President, NetCo, Per Morten Torvildsen.
Uffe Tomasson is the successor of Martin Nielsen, who decided to leave GlobalConnect to take on new challenges outside the organization.
